Mohammed Adil, final year B.Tech biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, who did his internship at Johns Hopkins University, USA has published his research in Genome Research Journal with impact factor, 11.03. Title of his research paper is “Toward the human cellular microRNAome”
Ms. Tahira Akhtar under the guidance of Dr. S. Hemalatha won first prize in Oral presentation for her research paper entitled “Green synthesis and characterization of silver nanoparticles from endophytic fungi to control pathogenic microbes” in National Conference on Nanotechnology in Medicine (NCNM-2017), 8th-9th September, 2017, Chettinad university, Chennai.
Mr. Mohd Shahanbaj Khan under the guidance of Dr. S. Hemalatha Won first prize in Oral presentation for his research paper entitled “Autophagy and programmed cell death are critical for drought tolerance in rice for sustainable agriculture in “National level conference on biotechnological advances towards sustainable agriculture and environment” Organized by Hindustan College of Arts and science, Chennai, India, On 24th August 2017.
