The Ph.D programme in EEE Department is started in the year 2002. The programme consist of four course work and thesis writing. A Doctoral Committee has to be constituted to guide the researchers in carrying out the course work and thesis work. One course work (Research Methodology) is made compulsory out of four and rest of the three is specified by the Doctoral committee.

The candidate is expected to complete a comprehensive viva voce before he/she is permitted to submit the Doctoral thesis. The research work has to be published in a referred international journal for the formal submission of the thesis. At present, there are 9 Research scholars pursuing their Ph.D programme.
