NEWS

National Award for developing digitally controlled heating gloves and pads for soldiers in high mountain areas under DIPAS, DRDO project. This award is given for the team of 5 members , two from BSA University (Dr. Vasanthakumari Raju, Director SRC and Mr S Vikram, Ph.D Student), 2 from IIT Madras and one from an industry by Dept. of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers , Govt of India. The award includes a citation, a shield and a cash prize of Rs 2 lakhs.

Purdue University Team visited BSAU to Interact with School of Computer and Information Sciences in connection with the "Study Abroad Programme"
NASA Austronaut Marsha Ivins, who had five space flights and three space walks with over 1389 hrs. in space will be visited our University on 30th April, 2012 at 10.00 AM and delivered a special Lecture titled " 55 Days in Space: The Story of an American Austronaut "
